Beer Review: 5 Deadly Venoms

Beer: 5 Deadly Venoms

Style: Double NEIPA

ABV: 6%

IBU’s: 67

When this beer came into the store it caught my coworker Andy's attention. The can art has 5 different masked figures each with a different colored hop on top of their masks. He proceeded to tell me that this can art and beer name was based off a 70s kung fu movie. In the movie each of the 5 deadly venoms possess a special style of king fu. How interesting I thought. So obviously I had to give it a try.

Vitamin Sea is the brewery responsible for bringing us this beer and is located in Weymouth Mass. They used 5 different hop varieties. Which perfectly matches the name, I appreciate the creativity they put into it. Overall it's a nice light and smooth IPA to drink. A lot of different notes of citrus, I would definitely recommend this to someone getting into craft beers. I would give this a Untappd rating of 4! Hope you give it a try as well! Keep on sipping!
